UI Design Patterns are an interest area of mine. They tend to get short shrift in comparison to Development Design Patterns. This site doesn't really do more than demo some good examples from various categories, but it's a good start if you aren't sure where to go with your mobile UI.

I'm following this project. I dig the idea. Not sure about the execution, yet, but the idea is one I support. I prefer decentralized systems to centralized ones, and this Facebook replacement has potential.

I'd prefer that they had released it as software that ran on apache or IIS for any small host to stand up for others to join, because a user download is not ideal, but I get the reasons and reserve judgement on the architecture until I know more.

This is the first actual in-game trailer for Deus Ex Human Revolution. Taking place 25 years before the events of JC Denton, it shows the hero, Adam Jensen, on the hunt for someone called Tung in a nightclub in Shanghai. The trailer gives a decent sense of the mix of action, stealth, and plot that we should expect from the final game. I hope it lives up to the quality of the first Deus Ex.

It is supposed to be released early next year on PS3, 360 and PC. I don't yet know about Mac. Crossing my fingers, though.
